Charlotte Edwards is the lead teacher at Edwards Dance Studio, the only permanent dance studio in Cardiff. The studio was established over 50 years ago by Charlotte's parents Christine and Frank Edwards, both of whom share a lifelong passion for dance. Frank is an IDTA examiner. Charlotte did her first IDTA amateur examination at age 2, qualified as a dance teacher at 20, and has since continued to study and develop, now holding a Ballroom Fellowship of the IDTA -- one of the highest qualifications in the discipline. The studio is located in the heart of Whitchurch village at 3 Bishops Road, Cardiff CF14, and has a spacious wooden sprung dance floor with a fresh air cooling system. Edwards Dance Studio teaches Ballroom, Latin, Line Dancing and Argentine Tango to all ages and abilities, and wedding day dances are a particular speciality. Private lessons are taught exclusively one-to-one, with choreography built around each couple's chosen music and style. The studio is open seven days a week.
