Ben and Stefanie are the founders of The First Wedding Dance, and are among the most decorated amateur ballroom couples the UK has produced. Competing together for 14 years from 2008 to 2022, they were ranked the number one amateur ballroom couple in the United Kingdom, achieved World Finalist and World Cup winner status, were crowned English Champions and Vice-Champions at the British National Championship, and reached the quarter-finals of the Professional World Championships as a rising star couple. They married in February 2020 at Gosfield Hall in Essex, which gave them direct experience of planning and performing their own first dance -- an experience that shaped their approach to teaching wedding couples. The First Wedding Dance offers private lessons at studios in Witham (Essex), Cheam (Surrey) and Cambridge, as well as online lessons for couples further afield. Every routine is created bespoke around the couple's song, their comfort level, and their vision for the day.
