Louise

Louise is the founder of Wedding Dances Somerset and the principal of GingerFred Dance Studio in Langport, Somerset, where she has welcomed around 150 adult dancers per week since 2013. With 30 years of professional experience in dance, Louise trained at Bretton Hall College for the Arts where she gained a First Class Honours Degree in Dance. She then studied at the world-class London Contemporary Dance School, gaining a Diploma in Dance and Choreography, before spending a year in Japan touring with a professional jazz company. On returning to the UK she became Head of Dance at Prior Park College in Bath and founded Bath Youth Dance Company. Over the next seven years she created six full-length touring dance shows, all supported by the Arts Council and performed at national and international festivals including Edinburgh, Prague, Brighton and Bristol -- one of which was reviewed in the Guardian. Louise brings the same depth of choreographic skill to every wedding couple she works with, building routines at GingerFred Studio in Langport that are entirely bespoke to each couple's personality, song and vision.
